Oriole Records Limited
British record company and owner of the Oriole, Realm and Embassy labels. Incorporated on 13 December 1948.
Records were manufactured at the company's own pressing plants Levy's, Pressing Plant, Aston Clinton and Colnbrook. The company headquarters at New Bond Street also housed Levy's Sound Studios, which became CBS Studios, London, following the acquisition of Oriole Records Ltd. by Columbia Broadcasting System, Inc. (CBS) in 1964.
The company was subsequently renamed CBS Records Ltd. on 1 April 1965.
