Encyclopaedia Britannica
The Encyclopædia Britannica (Latin for "British Encyclopaedia") is a general knowledge English-language encyclopedia established in 1768, often regarded among the most reputable and authoritative publications worldwide. Britannica changed ownership at least seven times throughout its lengthy history, currently published by Encyclopædia Britannica, Inc., an American corporation headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. The 15th edition was published in 2010, spanning 32 volumes with 32,640 pages; it was the last physically printed version.
