Les Disques Direction Records

Canadian record label founded by John J. Williams and Gary Salter in 1976. Also appears as Direction (2), Direction Records or Les Disques Direction.

Williams, who had previously worked with Harmonium while employed at CBS Records, hired ex-Harmonium member Michel Normandeau as artistic director and producer and the pair worked together for a year struggling to keep the company financially afloat. Normandeau left in 1977 and Williams continued the company alone, eventually folding it in 1978.
