Mewa
"MEWA" (Seagull). Gramophone Record Factory "Mewa", the first private record label in post-war Poland, operating in the years 1945–1949 in Poznań, founded at the end of 1945 by a chemical engineer from Poznań, Mieczysław Wejman.
The factory ceased operations in 1949. The authorities ordered Wejman to leave the factory premises. It was closed and destroyed.
