BBC Radio Enterprises
British label for the BBC to commercially exploit its audio output for release to the public (a separate operation to the transcription service which provided material to other broadcasters). Merged with BBC Television Enterprises in 1969 to form BBC Enterprises. BBC Enterprises became a limited company in 1979 and eventually became BBC Worldwide in the 1990s.
Reissues after 1969 often continued to use the BBC Radio Enterprises logo or credit.
