Started in 1949 by Joe Leibowtiz of Deluxe Records and Hy Pastman (a.k.a. Hugh Howard (4)), husband and manager of nightclub entertainer Ruth Wallis to release records by Wallis, the "queen of the double entendre". The label served as an outlet for Wallis' recordings of mildly risqué material.
Production of 45s and LPs began in 1949, compiled largely of previously released recordings. First release was "Ruth Wallis – Sings For A... Cafe Party" and their last release was "Ruth Wallis' Greatest Hits – Boobs" on December 1, 1998.
