Fantasy

Fantasy was an italian record company founded by Alessandro Celentano, elder brother of the singer-songwriter Adriano Celentano, and by Pino Massara.

The label, active in the 1960s and based in Milan, had the aim of researching and launching new talents, who were then often taken over by the Clan Celentano record company, which also dealt with the distribution of Fantasy.

One of the exceptions was Al Bano Carrisi who, after making his debut with this label, then continued his career with La Voce Del Padrone.

Among the other artists who recorded for Fantasy we can remember Claudia Mori, Pilade, Bruno De Filippi, Ghigo Agosti and Ico Cerutti.

Many of the songs released by the label were edited, as far as the arrangements are concerned, by Detto Mariano.
