Trix

Also written as: Trix Records.
American independent record label, set up in 1972 by the folklorist Peter B. Lowry (Pete Lowry), mainly recording Piedmont blues artists from the Southeastern states. Trix later sold its eighteen issued LP master tapes to Joe Fields of Muse Records. The Trix catalog was later sold to 32 Records, then was purchased by Savoy Jazz (JVC).
