Mexican label and record company from Monterrey that focused mainly on norteña music, founded in the early 1960s by Basilio Villarreal. Acquired by local subsidiary of British multinational, EMI Music Mexico, S.A. De C.V. in 1995. In the early years of its creation, Discos DLV took an almost identical design of the famous Tejano label, Del Valle, on their 7" records as well as on their LP's. Example: Los Armonicos Del Norte - No Puede Ser / Bellos Caminos. Before Discos DLV and DLV Musart manufactured their own records, Discos Rex were the ones who manufactured them.
