Public Recordings
Label founded by Roy Harper and his manager Mark Thompson (36) - with some other investors (and friends) like Robert Plant, Kate Bush, Paul McCartney, David Gilmour and Robert Grayburn - to release his own music.
Defunct after its first album release 'Work of Heart' in 1982, when Roy Harper had to liquidate it to settle a lawsuit with his bank. However several recordings made during the label's existence (and owned by Roy Harper) surfaced later under the Public Recordings' name.
