Unitra (Label)

UNITRA (1961—1989) was a state-funded Polish association of consumer electronics manufacturers. Following the crash of the communist Polish People's Republic, it reformed as a commercial enterprise and licensing firm. By 1985, at the peak of its success, UNITRA united 28 production companies and operated two R&D centers. All of its brands utilized the "Unitra" and stylized "U-shaped" trademarks alongside original names, such as Eltra, Unitra-Lubartów or ZRK (known for cassette decks and stereo receivers).
