BSI Records (Label)

Portland, Oregon's BSI Records (Bucolic Sound Investigations) was a dub and experimental label of considerable integrity. Founded in the mid-'90s, the label's international roster of artists includes Dry & Heavy (Japan), (the late) Muslimgauze (UK), King Jammy (Jamaica), Alpha & Omega (UK), Jah Warrior (UK), Henry & Louis (UK), Systemwide (US), Daddy Freddy (Jamaica), Bucolic (US), The Rootsman (UK), and many more. The label is now defunct, but two of the founders launched ZamZam Sounds in 2012.
