Initially specialized in distribution of licensed foreign (mostly English-language) records. [Before the establishment of Gong, they were previously distributed on Pepita, and before 1970 - on Qualiton].
After the Abolishment of Communism in 1989, the label was completely overhauled in 1992. As a result, the label's main focus switched to original Hungarian-language material (Either the new recordings from 1990's, or reissues of pre-1990 releases).
