Joyce Music Corporation filed as a Florida domestic profit corporation on August 4, 1975, with principals listed as Charles Garrod and Joyce T. Garrod, both of Zephyrhills, FL. On October 31, 1985 the company was issued a permanent injunction after a federal court found it to have sold unauthorized recordings of jazz sessions owned by CBS, among other companies. The defendants were ordered to surrender all pirated materials.
