1950s-1960s soul and R&B label from Pulaski, Tennessee.
Later revived from 1970 to 1978 in Toledo, Ohio.
Also appears as "Chanson Records."
Started by James Monroe Brown, owner of the publishing company Czar Pub. Co..

In the mid 1960's Howard Collins joined the label to play session guitar and write songs. Around 1969 Howard Collins relocated to Toledo, Ohio, where he started recruiting talent. At the time he was the vice president of the Chanson label, the J.B.P. (James Brown Productions) label, the Tee Vee label, and Czar productions.
