Apon
Established in the United States in 1958, Apon Records is the label and trademark of the Apon Record Company, Inc. from Long Island City, USA. The label issued a wide range of phonograph records, cassettes, CDs, as well as VHS tapes of folk music and movies. Languages include: Ukrainian, Czech/Bohemian, Slovak, Hungarian, Polish.
The logo design for the label included a number of variations — originally a simple oval with "APON" in the center, and from 1980 an oval with a flying duck. The most common logo was a round stylised phonograph symbol with APON in the middle. Later, when the label issued CDs, an accompanying logo "LOVE" was used.
