Telarc Jazz Zone
From Telarc, a label known for its audiophile recordings of classical works, this sub-label primarily featured fresh Contemporary/smooth jazz releases, from 1995 to 1997. These artists included guitarists Ed Hamilton and Thom Rotella, and jazz percussionist Steve Reid (5).
In 1996, parent Telarc merged with another independent jazz label, Heads Up International. In late 2005, both Telarc and Heads Up were acquired by Concord Music Group, Inc.
