Further Out Recordings
Run by dj, musician and producer Richard E, who was one half of Solar Apple Quarktette and Neptune Alpha Base Massive along with Martin Christy. SAQ began life as a nine-piece live outfit back in the early 90's, but due to life's interventions worked down to the crucial two.
Together they formed Further Out in 2001 to release their first single Flight 2. Dedicated to releasing leftfield dance/jazz/electronica and downbeat tracks that push boundaries, but are always musical. Further Out has also released tracks from fellow artists with the same vibe & goals like Bossa Futura and Alessandro Oliveiro.
Martin left in 2005 to pursue a life in chocolate (www.seventypercent.com) prompting Richard to kick off his solo career, including re-edits (R.E.-EDITS / Richard E Edits) and a collaboration with his wife Annabel (lee).
