Bison Bop
Bison Bop was a German label dedicated to American rockabilly and roots-influenced rock'n'roll of the Fifties and early Sixties.
A total of 38 compilation LPs were released on Bison Bop between 1979-1985. These releases were transitioned over to another of the parent label's sublabels -- Buffalo Bop -- during the 1985 release year. The identically themed series continued until 1992, with a single additional LP -- Volume 65 -- released in 2001.
