RONEeS
RONEeS (РОНИиС, short for "Ростовское Объединение Носителей Информации и Стройматериалов", "The Rostov Association of Information Media and Construction Materials") was a Russian holding company based in Rostov-on-Don founded in 1992 by Evgeny Ladik. The company's activities included production and publishing of media products and bottling of alcoholic beverages. Until the end of the 1990s, it was considered to be one of the largest Russian companies involved in the production of pirated audio products.
The company owned the main RONEeS media manufacturing facility, a publishing/printing house and three physical media production companies (ООО "Олимпий", ООО "Эхо" and ООО "Политек"), as well as the Mariinsky Distillery, three wineries and other commercial organizations.
As of 2005, the holding was owned by Evgeny Ladik (51%) and Sergey Fomenko (49%).
On October 5, 2006, Evgeny Ladik was killed at the entrance to the Malysh printing house building (which RONEeS has controlled at that time).
