Vanguard Apostolic
A short-lived record label produced from a collaboration between Vanguard Records and producer John Townley and his 10th Street Productions and Apostolic Studios. The label was launched in 1968 and concentrated on Jazz, Blues and other avant-garde music. A handful of releases, including initial Lps from Larry Coryell, were issued before the label was shuttered in 1971 after the release of Larry Coryell - At The Village Gate.
