Aard-Vark was a sublabel of Canyon Records, used mainly to release music whose master rights were held by the Yamaha Music Foundation. When Yamaha established Yamaha Music Communications in 2000, no further new albums were released using Aard-Vark, and the imprint only appeared on re-issues.
