Channel One Recording Studio

Jamaican recording studio owned by Joseph Hookim and Ernest Hookim, founded in 1972. The house bands at the studio were The Revolutionaries (often headed by Sly Dunbar and Robbie Shakespeare), and later The Roots Radics (led by Errol "Flabba" Holt, Style Scott and Bingy Bunny).

The chief engineer at the studio was Sid Bucknor, followed by Ernest Hookim and Stanley Bryan. Other engineers at the studio included Overton 'Scientist' Brown, Anthony Hamilton, Donovan Phillips, Dale McLaren, Anthony Graham, and Lancelot "Maxie" McKenzie.
