absurd
Absurd and its imidiate familly of monikers was the brainchild of Nicolas Malevitsis and the real-life greek proof that things can be done in a different way. Specializing in almost everything, but notorious for its championing of all things noisy and for a quite spectacular dip in reductionism’s sparse waters back in the golden old days, it continues to confound expectations and insist on neglected corners.
Absurd's final release absurd # 84: bye bye butterfly was in fact a mini festival organised by Nikolas on the Saturday of 4th December 2010 at the ’Spiti Politismou’ of F.E.X. in the city of Xanthi in North Greece.
Last physical item from Absurd while it was still active came with cat# πτώματα κάτω από το κρεββάτι (Gravity @ Half Speed / A Sunburned Grotto) which connected absurd activities with Nikola's fututre at that time project Πτώματα Κάτω Από Το Κρεββάτι.
Absurd by its name and absurd by its nature, still there was time for one more release (Earzumba - Bye Bye Butterfly) that came as a supplement to absurd#84 Mini Festival.
