Rádio Cidade FM

Brazilian label associated with "Rádio Cidade FM", that began broadcasting on May 1, 1977.

- In 1982, "Rede Cidade" was created - one of the first satellite radio networks in Brazil, it was controlled by "Rádio Cidade" from Rio de Janeiro (102.9 MHz) and "Rádio Cidade" from São Paulo (98.1 MHz).

- The network had its own and affiliated stations throughout the country and at this stage pop rock became the main focus through the programs "Amnesia", "Saudade Cidade", "Cidade Dá De 10", "Só Se For Dance" and "Invasão Da Cidade", the latter featuring live bands at the station's studios.

- "Rede Cidade" ended up being dissolved in 1994, due to the high costs to rent the satellite transponder, and its affiliates started to act independently.
