Artist agency, recordcompany and publisher company, from Volendam, the Netherlands. Also mentioned as: Volendam Music BV or Volendam Music bv. This BV was created in 1985 when Jaap Buijs was left as the only partner after the death of his brother Jan Buijs. Previously the company was known as "Artiestenbureau Volendam". Jaap was joined by daughter Alice in 1990 and son Aloys in 1999. In 2008 Alice and Aloys took over the company. Jaap Buijs subsequently remained director until his death in 2015. Strangely enough the company may have been already credited as BV on releases much prior to 1985.

With logo 'Volendam Music bv' or text 'Volendam Music' it may be added as a (second) label Volendam Music with repeated cat.#, besides e.g. Artist & Company.
