Mel-o-dy

1960s label from Detroit, Michigan.

Introduced in 1962, the label was owned by Motown and under Al Klein's management. It was mainly a country music label but also other genres were covered. In 1965 the label stopped. Not to be confused with Melodyland, a later Motown country subsidiary launched in the 1970s.
