TVN
Televisión Nacional de Chile, better known as TVN is a Chilean public service television station. In the 1980s releases it appears under the name "TV Chile".
It was founded by order of President Eduardo Frei Montalva and it was launched nationwide on 18 September 1969. Televisión Nacional is the only public owned television company in Chile and competes for audiences with other private broadcasting groups, having a self-financing scheme based mainly on its advertising sales.
