Sony Music Entertainment AS (Label)

It was formed in the 1970's as CBS Records AS. After the Sony's acquisition of CBS Records Group, it changed its name to Sony Music Entertainment (Norway) in January 1991. After the joint venture between Sony Music Entertainment (part of Sony) and BMG Entertainment (part of Bertelsmann) completed on August 5, 2004 Sony Music Entertainment (Norway) became Sony BMG Music Entertainment (Norway) AS. With the Sony's acquisition of BMG's stakes in 2008, in January 1, 2009, it then became Sony Music Entertainment Norway AS.
