Boutique label started by Terry Tolkin, onetime sales clerk at the legendary 99 Records (2) store on Macdougal. After a brief spell at Of Factory New York with soon to become Hollywood mogul Michael Shamberg, Tolkin went on to A&R at Elektra, where he signed Pixies & Luna (5).
