Established in 1986 and serving mostly as a distributor & licensee for labels like Shimmy Disc (see Shimmy Disc Europe) and Community 3, but also as record company with regular releases. Went out of business late nineties.
There was also a German branch (Semaphore gmbH), with separate releases and full legal name: "Semaphore Musik-Produktions- und Vertriebs GmbH", registered 86/12/22 Amtsgericht Nürnberg HRB 7703; deleted 12/05/18.
