Neu Harmony Recordable
Founded, owned and run by David Law.
This electronic music label specializes in releasing music in the Berlin School style, including a not so narrow interpretation.
It was active from 1999 to 2002 with CD-R releases, in addition to the Neu Harmony label for factory pressed CD's.
Neu Harmony Recordable (also called Neu Harmony CD-R) was restarted in 2016. Since 2020 it has become very prolific with an average of one new release per day.
Since the relaunch all releases are characterized by white stripes at the top and bottom of the cover with artist name and album title.
The "Neu Harmony Recordable" logo only appeared on a former label website, but not on any release. The “Neu Harmony” logo is always used there.
Since 2016 the CD-R's themselves have had the same artwork at the same time, except the BIOnighT, Mac of BIOnighT and Gert Blokzijl releases which have their individual ones.
The following versions were used, for new releases and new burned CD-R's from the back catalogue:
2016 - December 2019: white lettering on a dark brown or black background, as with Lost Radiance - Marly
January 2020 - March 2023: black lettering on a grey-white "cloudy" background, as with Andy Pickford - Aphelion
since April 2023: white lettering on a close-up of a synthesizer console, as with RadioSilence - Derelict Spaces
