PGP RTB was a Yugoslav state-owned record company and label existing during the period of the socialist Yugoslavia. It changed its name to PGP RTS around 1993.
Sometimes referred as RTB Records.

Following the establishment of the Television Belgrade, during 1959 Radio Belgrade, who had previously run small shellac label Jugodisk, started a more ambitious and market-oriented record production. Standard of these records was a 10" vinyl LP with 4 tracks per side. PGP RTB released 6 LP records in 1959 with total circulation of 15 000 copies.
The first vinyl LP ( LP 501), released under the title ,,Various - Muzika Za Igru'', was a various artists compilation. One of then most popular singers, Đorđe Marjanović, was the first artist to have his own record Đorđe Marjanović, Plavi Ansambl - Muzika Za Igru released, including hit song ,,Zvižduk u 8''. This was also the first record bearing new PGP RTB label (October 1959).
During 1960, PGP RTB released 21 titles and reached total circulation of 86 000 copies, while already in 1963 they owned 13 pressing machines, released 150 titles and reached total circulation of 300 000 copies.

In the early 1960s new standards were adopted:
EP 7" and 45 rpm with 4 tracks
S 7" and 45 rpm with 2 tracks
LP 12" and 33 rpm with 8 tracks

Following the first LP and the first single play record ("Cune Gojković, Narodni Orkestar Žarka Milanovića - Kafu Mi Draga Ispeci" in 1963), PGP RTB became an important factor of music production business not only in Serbia but in the whole country of Yugoslavia too. It grew into an economically strong and a powerful record manufacture company, adopted new worldwide standards, technologies and achieved a great expansion on the market:
1970 - introduced the production of audio cassettes
1978 - introduced 24-track multi-track recorder (MCI) in its Studio V PGP RTB
1983 - beginning of video production
1983 - 1985 from the accumulated profit PGP-RTB succeeds in building the modern factory at Košutnjak, then the most state-of-the-art and the biggest in the Balkans.

2003 - made its first DVD

As of 2010, PGP had created an audio archive of 10 500 titles (releases), more than 120 000 tracks (songs) and about 6 000 hours of programme.
