San Andreas Records
MCA Records started this sub-label to market the Repo Man soundtrack. In the August 1989 issue of International CD Exchange (ICE), MCA’s Andy McKaie noted: “We created the San Andreas label for alternative things, using the name intentionally as a joke: ‘If it doesn’t work, it’s San Andreas’ fault.’ There were only three albums on the label, and then it went the way of the buffalo.”
