"About Reel-Heavy Music. Despite what the header up there might claim, the idea here is not necessarily to start one more reggae reissue label. Reel-Heavy Music, really, is more the continuation of the almost decade I’ve been writing for reggae magazines in France and USA.
With a knack for unfairly forgotten artists of roots music, I’ve always wondered how I could give back more than through interviews.
Hence the idea: to reissue heavy roots tunes that never got the success they deserved back in their day, organically, whenever a bond is created with an artist or producer -with all the time, the respect and the care that putting out a quality product demands. I hope you'll enjoy the ride as much as I have doing this..."
