Didgeridoo Records (Label)

Didgeridoo originated in 1980 as a record shop in Darlinghurst, Sydney, Australia and eighteen months later, Hot Records started from the back of the shop.
During the mid-1990s Hot established a second office in Sussex, United Kingdom, so Didgeridoo began appearing on some releases as the the Australian distribution arm of Hot Records (both entities now defunct). As early as 1996 / 1998 Didgeridoo also started being branded on releases as an Australian record label in its own right. The parent company Didgeridoo Records Pty Ltd was deregistered 20/11/2016.
