Embryo Records

The Embryo Label was owned by Herbie Mann and distributed by the Atlantic subsidiary Cotillion.

The 520 series was a jazz series, the 730 series was FM-rock. It shut down in 1977, with its last release by Dick Morrissey and Jim Mullen, leading Mann to return to Atlantic as an artist.
