Share Records, Inc. was a division of Shelby Singleton Corporation. Shelby S Singleton Jr. left Mercury Records to form his own business and at one time, the Shelby Singleton Corporation owned or controlled some fifteen record industry labels or divisions including, for example, Share, Blue Fox, Plantation, and SSS. Singleton also bought Sun Reissues / Records in 1969.
