BMOP/sound
BMOP/sound is an American record label, founded in 2008 by a critically acclaimed Boston Modern Orchestra Project. Its eclectic catalog covers little-known contemporary classics of the XX century and works of today's most innovative and original composers. Five inaugural releases by BMOP/sound appeared on 'best of 2008' lists of The New York Times, National Public Radio, The Boston Globe, Downbeat, American Record Guide and other publications.
