Ultraphone U
The Compagnie Ultraphone Française ("Ultraphone") was born from the merger of the German company Deutsche Ultraphon AG and the Société Nobel Française. It was created in January 1931 as an independent phonographic brand. After the demise of the Deutsche Ultraphon AG in the summer of 1931, Ultraphone kept working with Telefunken AG, who in March 1932 took over the Deutsche Ultraphon AG, by releasing some of its matrices in France, but Telefunken was not an important share holder. The French Ultraphone company was dissolved in May 1939.
