Philology
Philology is an Italian jazz label, owned by company Philology Jazz Records (Philology Jazz Records).

It was established in 1987 by Paolo Piangiarelli, and brings both American veterans (Phil Woods, Chet Baker, Lee Konitz) and Italian "new young jazz talents." It has also delved into historical releases, including the Charlie Parker series of broadcasts Birds' Eyes. Evidently the label ceased operation within a few years prior to the owner's death in January 2022.
