Prophonics Studios
Paul Potts started Prophonics Studios by building a small recording studio in the basement of his home in Mt. Morris, Michigan.
The first artist signed to the label was Cecil Washington in June 1966. Cecil also ended up becoming a part owner in Prophonics by assisting local artists and bands that came in to record.
