Rae Cox

New-York based label formed in 1959 by Teddy McRae and Eddie Wilcox, both experienced R&B and big band musicians and arrangers in the late 1940s and early 1950s. They not only released gospel but also some Doo-Wop, R&B and other styles in vogue in the late 1950s and early 1960s. On their subsidiary Enrica, McRae and Wilcox released two gospel 45s and at least one gospel album. The other releases on Enrica are a mixed bag of soul, funk, blues and R&B.
