Holla'back Records

Holla'back Records,Entertainment & Management,LLC

Holla'back Records was established in August of 1997. Its President and CEO, Carla "The Commissiona" Boone decided to start this Independent label after 20 + years of working in corporate America. It was time that Carla define her own destiny; thus Holla'back Records was borne.

With the expertise of her Executive Vice President, Shanna "Cookie "McCollum, controlling, coordinating and directing major activities relating to managing the "Holla'back Project", Holla'back Records successfully released its first project Holla'back Records presents "Trajik" and "the Black Casba."

Now, in the new millenium, we are proud to introduce the first soloist signed to the label: Kevlar, formerly of the Black Casba & to reintroduce "Trajik!"

"Trajik," is a derivative of Webster dictionary's "Tragedy." Webster defines tragedy as "the downfall of a great man." Far too many of our great African American men and women have fallen prey to the tragedy of life; unable to absorb and appreciate its good and bad.Trajik acts as an outlet for our young people. "We are the voice of the streets; of every young man and woman struggling through this thing we call life" states Kieon, the spokesman of the group."We write, perform and live despite tragedy and hope that all of our young brothers and sisters can, eventually, do the same!" The 2 members of Trajik include Kieon (a 20 year old actor, rapper& part-time model) and Ant-Live (a 19 year old hip hop junkie!) Together, they form the hottest new hip hop idols in the game today!

The Black Casba, featured Holla'back's first solo artist: KEVLAR!! The technical definition of Kevlar is "a bulletproff material made by Dupont." Kevlar's rap style reflects the true technical definition just described: simply Bulletproof!

Kevlar, formerly of the Black Casba, is featured on the featured track "the Black Casba." Kevlar's unique style and sheer rap genius will captivate all real hip hop enthusiasts! Kevlar, a 20 year old cat from BK, has been influenced by old school artists such as Big L & Rakim.

At 6'1" tall, Kevlar's height & skillz will tower over all competition! Kevlar will soar to the top of this game and prove that true hip hop lives Forever!

TRAJIK & Kevlar's newest singles will be released in April 2001.

APEX TECH & ELIJAH WELLS, two of the hottest new producers on the scene, will, once again, provide the beats for both of these releases in addition to their Album to be released in Summer 2001.
