Rhythm Safari
Rhythm Safari (LLC) was launched in Los Angeles in 1990 by South African veteran music producer/executive Hilton Rosenthal. The label initially concentrated on world music, but later developed to have success with releases by Carole King, Foreigner, and Boyz Of Paradize. Distribution was handled by Priority Records.
In 1997 Rhythm Safari (Pty. Ltd.) was re-launched after Mr. Rosenthal's move to Sydney, Australia, with distribution now handled by Universal Music (Australia & New Zealand).
