The Lorien cultural association Lorien, Historical Archives, was born in Milan on 28 October 1997 to safeguard the historical heritage of Italian alternative music, produced starting from the mid-1960s, which risked being lost. Over the years the association has broadened its scope by also creating an archive of Italian patriotic and traditional music.
