Unicorn Records

American label in existence from 1979 until bankruptcy in 1983. Distributed by MCA.

Sidenote:
The Black Flag debut album Damaged was not distributed after MCA executive Al Bergamo determined the album was an "Anti-Parent" record. This was the beginning of a legal dispute that would, for a period a few years later, disallow Black Flag from using their own name on any record. Black Flag released Damaged on SST Records and placed a copy of the "Anti-Parent" statement on the record's cover.
