"The Music Connection" (TMC), incorporated in New York in 1980, was originally a vinyl manufacturing broker. In 2002, TMC purchased all the record-pressing assets of WEA Manufacturing's Specialty Records Corporation and Allied Record Company manufacturing plants, moving the equipment to a new facility named "33 1/3 Record Pressing Manufacturing" in Dunmore, PA. They continued to press for WEA by contract through 2005.
