Sarotti

German chocolate factory, founded 1852 in Berlin by Heinrich Ludwig Neumann.
From 1918, the trademark, a "Mohr" (small negro) with turban, was used. Takeover by Nestlé in 1929, move to Hattersheim (near Frankfurt/Main). It has then been owned by Stollwerck GmbH in Cologne since 1998, which was taken over by Barry Callebaut GmbH in 2002 and sold in 2011 to the Belgian group Baronie.
