Cobalt Music
Greek record label established by Victoras Antippas (Βίκκο Αντίππας), after acquiring the Universal Music Greece catalogue in 2013. With Universal's purchase of EMI the previous year, EU regulators required Universal to divest some of its interests. Universal opted to hold Minos-EMI and sell the Universal Greece assets. Victoras Antippas had founded Helladisc S.A., which he sold to Phonogram, which in turn became PolyGram and later Universal Music so the business has gone full circle returning to its founder.
Universal Music continues to trade in Greece through Minos-EMI S.A.. The Nana Mouskouri catalogue which was distributed by Universal Music Greece was retained and transferred to Minos-EMI.
